I had a request for some custom Loopy Lavender buttons similar to these that are listed in my shop but in 3/4" size.   I had so much fun creating them!

I am so pleased because finally I've found a sealant that I am comfortable will hold up with gentle washing.  I am also expanding my supplies and techniques.  Slowly you will see the results being listed in the shop.  I have lots to share but have had a hard time getting a good quality photograph in these dreary Wisconsin winter days.  I need to invest in a good light box.

FOUR EYES DESIGNS - Shop Update

This week I've introduced another new item in my shop...layered butterflies with bling!  Each butterfly contains two layers and either a rhinestone or pearl accent.  The wings can be lifted for great dimension!  Sets of 12 are listed for $1.75.  I'll gladly take color combo requests or create a custom order just for you! 

This is one of my all-time favorites....polka dotted patterned paper in orange, pink, cream and kraft.  There are four different configurations for these so click on this link to see the full set.

And this set is yellow base topped with a striped butterfly in white/green/blue color combo and topped with a large yellow rhinestone.  This set contains 12 identical butterflies.

I listed a bunch of new buttons in the shop last week.  The previous batch sold quickly so let's see how these go.  I am getting happier and happier with each batch that I create and am getting pretty proud of my creations.  I finally have the sealing down to a preferred method and have discovered a better way to do the button holes without distorting the clay.  Yay!!

For a few weeks I've been hinting at new products to be arriving in my store and they have finally started to be listed...polymer clay buttons!!

I have been having so much fun playing with the polymer clay! I've got tons more to list and card and right now these are selling for $1.00/set. SUPER cheap but I'm still learning so I don't feel right charging more. Besides, this is a creative outlet for me, not a money maker.

I am still struggling with finding good ways to photograph my products, and this is especially difficult with buttons. Hard to get the proper coloring of them in the photos.

So far this has to be one of my favorite techniques, the stripes and what better than to do the colors of my favorite ice cream, neopolitan! You can see more pictures and purchase these buttons here: Neopolitan Buttons.

And here's the Plum Passion button set. The silver clay is sparkly and looks gorgeous in person! This also is one of my favorite techniques, laying the silver criss-cross strips over the plum clay to create these patterned buttons! I imagine you'll see more of this style in the future.
